The human body was my favorite subject matter that I used to love to paint and sketch. I haven't done it in YEARS, but I still am fascinated by bodies and faces in general. I like to overlook photography subjects to get ideas, and see what other people think is trendy and subject-matter-worthy. The newest disturbing trends that I've seen are men's hairless bodies and overblown, rock-hard looking women's breasts.
I don't necessarily mean to put down hairlessness, I just don't find it particularly appealing on a visceral level. The look of pubic hair or chest hair on men is - on a purely instinctive level - sexy. Although one might say you

I like dogs. Dogs do not give me headaches, make my nose run or make me wheeze. If you approach them correctly, they will be your friend forever. I hate cats. I'm severely allergic to cats. I have to use my inhaler and sneeze incessantly, and that does not make me happy. If you pet a cat too much, no matter if it's your friend or not, it will swipe at you with its claws. If you pet a dog too much, it will just walk away. It's not stupid and doesn't try to control you.
